Imamiya Ebisu Jinja

Imamiya Ebisu Shrine is known as "Ebessan" by the locals of Osaka. It is primarily known for Tōka Ebisu festival that occurs in January each year, during which branches of bamboo are decorated with charms and ofuda purchased from the fuku-musume (lucky girls) selling them on behalf of the shrine. It is especially popular with those who own shops and businesses, as Ebisu has become associated with merchants and economic success.
